DIY – grow your own lilies

Now that we are outside in the garden more often with the nice weather, it’s  nice if the garden looks beautiful. That is of course possible with a nice container of potted lilies, which then quickly give color. But did you know that potted lilies are also sold in a stage that still need a while to grow? You can plant these in your garden and watch them grow. Make sure you plant the root ball 2 to 3 cm below the ground. You can plant them together in a group, but also individually or in a row. Another great idea is to plant them among your lower perennials. They will grow above it and flower after 4 to 5 weeks. Since the bulbs are hardy, they emerge every spring and will then bloom in the summer.
